HOW WE SEE OURSELVES

At All Saints' International Congregation, we :

1) Worship God the Father and witness to the transforming love of Jesus Christ through the power of the Spirit.

2) Use the Bible as the normative guide of for faith and conduct in accordance with the tradition of the historic Christian Church and with the exercise of reason.

3) Welcome, serve and pastorally care for people of any culture, faith and church background.

4) Equip, support and send people to serve others in the name of Christ.

5) Provide special activities for young people, single people and families.

All Saints’, the only Anglican church in Lebanon and at the heart of rebuilt central Beirut, has a strategic role. With a sister Arabic congregation, the International Congregation is:

· A "BRIDGE" CHURCH attracting people from a wide variety of Protestant backgrounds as well as Catholic, Orthodox and non-Christian

· A DIVERSE COMMUNITY with 30 nationalities, from migrant workers to university lecturers, from expatriates to English-speaking Arabs

· A MISSION BASE supporting many missionaries in various areas including: Sudanese refugees, prison work and medical/literacy work in Beirut slums

· A RESOURCING CHURCH for the Alpha Course, a mission tool which bridges denominations, with great potential for growth in the Middle East
