Glenridding

Glenridding is an ideal centre for walking, fishing, bird watching, sailing, canoeing, golf or just enjoying the spectacular scenery. The Helvelyn and Fairfield ranges surround the village, Place Fell and High Street rise on the other side of Ullswater. The Ullswater Sailing school, 500 yards away provides berthing, tuition, or hire of boats. Lakeland steamers start from near the sailing school and cruise the lake from Easter to Autumn.
